I took a short break last year and spent some time in West Sussex, somewhere I haven't been since I was very young. The coast is a combination of shingle beaches and muddy inlets. There was very bright green seaweed, which really stood out in many of the coastal areas. One of the places we visited was Bosham Harbour and we spent a day watching the tide go in and out and the local yacht club launching their boats. I took the opportunity to make a few larger sketches. Eventually I managed to work these up into a larger artwork, which will be my next post.
